I lost mine on my first time solo in actual IMC - it always sits in the hand hold of the plane and apparently I knocked it off and couldnt find it when they gave me a new route halfway to my destination - I ended up jsut writing it down on the ipad.

:rofl
i wouldnt be laughing if i were you.

your RC car was stolen right under your nose when it was outside of the garage, beaten to pieces apparently, burned to a crisp, covered in sand and mud that hid all evidence of the car being burned and beaten, then found by a friend who knew exactly what it looked like on a hidden away, hardly used dirt trail somewhere in the woods. such an interesting story. and all this happened because your dad didnt want the oil that you easily could have washed off with a hose and a rage outside then dried, taken inside and kept safe, but instead you decided to leave it sit outside overnight all exposed and such then have it stolen. not to mention you didnt do more than tell us about it and then asked your mommy for a new one.

thats funny.

Steeling a flight instructors pen is about like taking a bear cub from momma bear

the only writing utensil was a pen, but it was lost, so no notes, then failed the test because of the notes not being there.

A black gel ball pen writes much faster than pencil, my personal choice.

I was on the cutting edge when I went to college in 1988 with my mini cassette recorder.  I let it run during lectures, then played it back to take notes later.  I had a Brother typewriter that had a small amount of memory and a one line LCD screen.  It was an early word processor.  The other guys in my dorm thought I was a hot stuff rich guy...   :rofl
