PiggyBack B17's
« on: November 29, 2011, 01:25:30 PM »
I was in a restaurant today and I overheard two WW2 vets talking, but what got to me was a story they were talking about. A piggyback B17??? I got curious and asked the two gentlemen were talking about. The first one said his brother in-law was a famous B17 pilot from WW2 that flew into Germany and his plane collided with another 17 and flew teh infamous piggyback planes. Curious I started to look things up and found this on Glenn Rojohn from that infamous flight.

:salute Glen Rojohn and the crews of those flights.

disclaimer I did realize that it was an older article so I am sorry.

Yes this is well known by many here. Never hurts to post it up though.
