that stuff never counts..


all the jocks think that practicing with a foam football in a 20x50 courtyard at lunch will get them into the major leagues. theres only been 2 people at this highschool in all of the time on earth that have ever gotten into the NFL/NBA/MLB ect...

Then you still have two more then most. It is enormously unlikely you. Or your kid will ever reach the pro level. Only slightly less unlikely is that you will ever know anyone that will go on to the pro level.

I play with a kid now that had scouts looking at him his freshman year, he started on varsity over a senior. Everyone on the team knows hes going places. IF he gets a full ride because unfortunately his family cant afford college.

Some schools though are known for putting out quality players. Around here there is a Catholic school that has put 4-5 into the NFL in the past few years. They have also put out 3-4 players into the MLB.
Emmitt Smith came out of a rival high school literally 15 blocks down the road as well.
