Squads that have dedicated ACM trainers
« on: November 27, 2011, 05:27:57 PM »
Is there any squads out there that actively have an ACM training classes? So many squads recruit, but if you have -0- training from the terms that are used "pork the field" to carrier tos and landings etc.like the slick manuvers i keep gettin killed with and have no idea how to do the same. The TA is ok but the crosshairs disappear when in the MAs.

Some squads do, mine for example 367th I am the "trainer" in a sense I head to TA couple times a week, but mainly the squadies all help each other.

Wouldn't I be the Trainer,Reschke :headscratch: :lol

Most aces high trainers are also in squads.  I'm with VF-17, and Morfiend is in JG-11, for example.  Most established squads will have a veteran or two that will help you out once joined up, just have to ask in most cases.

Very much true, however you do want to make sure the squad has a trainer - there are some I won't list that clearly do NOT have a trainer.

TWC The Wrecking Crew has a designated Training Officer, TWCJaxx, Recruiting Officer, TWCFatal, and I am ATO Assistant Training Officer TWCCajun. We are committed to Wednesday night training 6PM Central time to 8PM Central time. We do various scenarios of BFM, AFM, Bombing, defensive moves, offensive moves, Carrier Missions, GV Missions etc. All of the experienced guys pass on information and tactics to newer flyers. So far 9 years of experience has been shared from FA to AH and we still are learning FA. The training sessions are for TWC Members but we usually help anyone who ask during the rest of the week and sometimes train up again on Sunday nights.  Check us out at TWCClan.com

we LDs can't drive tanks, nor we steer a boat into the right direction, we using wingman tactics, the noob hates us for that, the veterans loves us therefore

go and read a bit about it:

The second link perfectly explains how to double team/pick someone in a 2v1. Not sure if thats "dedicated ACM training". Yea sometimes i fall into the "noob" category.
Some LDs are good folks, some arent. Not a bad squadron anyway.

Whisky: if you want to improve, do 1v1s. A load of them. Find someone who is better than you (DA), practice til youre in the same level, then find an even better one. Thats how i found my squad.

Debrody, maybe you don't want to improve, or you got absolutly no clue about aircombat! To fight together with a wingman needs all basics at first, keeping E state , using best corner speed, hi and low Yoyos, rolling scissors , barrel rolls etc!

Therefore i added the first link. But good flying doesn't kill the con right? You have to hit him, so there are two opportunities, you start a 1vs1 turnfight til death, or you try to improve your single pilot SA, learn to paint a picture with your wingman together. Its getting much more complex if you got a couple of wings, each tells the next changes of the complete picture by adding new informations, like adding next puzzlepieces to a complete picture. All you can come along with is to offend some of my squadmates again? Serious?

My link shows how you win a fight without loosing your wingman, it shows and describes the difference between the double attack doctrine and the loose deuce doctrine, developed by USN during the vietnam war! uh yes all those RL pilots are pickers than????

BUT aircombat has nothing to do with 1vs1, not in history not currently not in the future! You wanna have allways a 1vs1, allright, your 15$! But stop complaining about those who wants to use and develop Wing tactics. The right timing and right usage of all BFM/ACM is needed to step up and fight as wings!
Yes you found your squad, but you flys allways on your own and complains about other when they shot you down. Well, move on, read R.Shaw Fighter Combat twice, its still the Aircombat "Bible"
Better read it twice and discuss again whne you realy understands whats all about! If it seems too much work, open a private arena, make a date and fight 1 vs 1 the whole night til the sun comes up again, but please stopp crying like a little girl about the MA, thats truly annoying

If you took it as a complaint, im sorry. If im stating your squad "isnt a bad one" and you smell an offense, ok, you know. <S>, have fun.
Real air combat surely has nothing to do with 1v1s.
A video game has nothing to do with real life tho.
