That's not a real Spitfire, nor is the flight gear she's wearing RAF outside of the replica goggles.

 For shame!

At least she made an effort to distract us from that fake Spitfire :)

Why do you think the Spit isn't real?  The guy that did the photo is known for pics with warbirds.

codes match a well known replica spit. Note the tree blade prop yet the double radiator of a Spit IX
search replica spitfire and photo of this bird RE-D will show up.

Definately not a real Spitfire

Whats sad is that the woman is infinitly more attractive than any spitfire, replica or not.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

He's right it's a replica. It's an actual size Spitfire but it's powered by an Allison engine has a 3 bladed prop, it was also build in 2003. The tail number is N1940K if anyone wants to look it up.

Be nice to the Spitfire! Yes it's a replica but it's a very well made replica, a lot better that those 190s and 109s replicas. I'd prefer this Spitfire than a actual 1940s 109, all those 109s are Merlin powered these days and that just not right.
