You might benefit from a little background on those... The Fw200 isn't a bomber. Nor is it a heavy bomber. Nor is it tough or fast. The P-80 doesn't even meet the criteria for HTC's inclusion into the game. The Meteor barely does and wouldn't be much of an addition. The PBY flew much slower than a C-47 and did even less than the Goonie Bird. Of your list the Pe-2 is the only worthy selection (and a good one, at that).

EDIT: Butcher! The 410 won the poll! It's already on its way!

Since all his elves are busy on the 410 (and maybe even some 190 adjustments/additions :pray ), I'm only wishing them happy holidays and a safe new year!   :airplane:   :D

I'm hoping it gets in game before Xmas, other then that my Christmas list is complete because I've been begging for the 410 for years now.

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is something to bomb!  Can we have a new strat system?  PUHHHLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZE?
I promise if you put up a load of new factories that actually mean something to game play that I will bomb them every day!   If you make HQ un-resupplyable, I'll bomb that too!
I promise not to be too mean to the silly boys that will try to climb up the tail of my bombers when I fill them full of holes.

Sincerely,
EagleCH

PS:  I promise to drop reindeer food too and not fill your sleigh full of .50 cal as it goes by.

The PBY flew much slower than a C-47 and did even less than the Goonie Bird.

Partially correct.  You are correct about the speed but incorrect about the PBY doing "less".  The PBY was vital to the war effort in the PTO throughout the entire war and it's an insult to those PBY crewmen to dismiss the Catalina by claiming it didn't play any significant role during the war.

B-25J Glass nose and solid strafer models.

Change the strat system back to the old way and allow more GV spawns to them.

Update the A-20 graphics model and include the 20mm Soviet model.

I think anyone whose ever studied or even read about World War 2 would remember "Strawberry 5" - although its a fake "code name" given to the PBY that found the Japanese Fleet at Midway, never the less most wouldn't realize it was actually one of many Pby's from VP-23  to search that morning.

I find it insulting only that - although it has a very limited role for Aces High, one simply cannot shrug the importance of what the PBY was. I joke their are some aircraft which should be added to the game and some aircraft that should of been already in the game, and the PBY deserves its role.

I can't think of many tools that saved so many pilots - one which includes a former president of united states.

Take a chill pill folks. I didn't say it was insignificant. I didn't say it didn't do anything. You put it in-game and it would do less than a C-47. It doesn't have the role diversity of even a basic goon. We have no pilots floating around at random points to rescue. We have no shipping to attack. We have no seaports. We have no water landing system (and that would require a MAJOR recoding of the game, methinks, there are MANY variables and things to program, tons to compute). It would be a land-based plane that barely flies above stalling speed for most other planes in the game with a meager bomb load and a giant target of a wing with fabric covered construction.

Yeah... That's a winning package. I was never talking about its WW2 history. In WW2 they took a lot of terrible planes and used them in special ways and the end result can be considered a major success, but that doesn't mean the plane's performance or capabilities were all that special. Most pilots formed a permanent love of their earliest most obsolete planes simply because it got them home in 1 piece. Not because it performed well or got them any kills or dropped its bombs on target. Just sayin'.... PBY record in WW2 may be long and courageous, but as far as gameplay goes? This isn't real life, and it will suck as an addition.
