after a 70+ hour work week, i finally get a chance to log on, up a GV blow stuff up, only find the Mindao, with no place to spawn a tank, anywhere.

 :bhead

yes, a whine has been recorded.

again.

Agreed. This map is a POS and I refuse to play on it. Everytime I see it up I log right back out. Should have NEVER been brought back.

Meanwhile, in your absence, I am happily destroying stuff with ground vehicles all over that map.

it always seems that most GVers just want a nice easy (boring) spawn to camp, and preferably no possible chance of air support clearing them out

Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

(Image removed from quote.)

With this map, if you've been Knight for the last 2 days (I don't know about today as I haven't logged in) you have had ZERO bases that have a GV spawn into an enemy base for almost the entire time that the map has been up. We organized a couple of raids and took A1 on the rook front, and got us a GV spawn, and created one heck of a huge, hellacious battle. Unfortunately when I logged back in later on that day A1 was back in rook hands, and Knights were back to having not one single spawn to an enemy field.

I don't really care to camp a spwn, and I'm not really a good camper, anyway. I like driving a GV to a field and starting a fight more than camping.... and with this map that is very rarely possible.

I could care less about the map one way or the other, otherwise.... just add in some more stinking GV spawns fer heavens sakes.

The shore at A-5 had a good gv fight on it !

I agree tho that spawns could and should be added before any maps are thrown out, although it will be hard to fix this one!

You might try a game not flight oriented or check out all that Aces High has to offer. Do not limit yourself.

Yesterday there were about 40 in MW.

not in Mundane... er... Mindanao you aren't.

On that map, I routinely spawn into V65 from A1 and drive to the strats to shoot up the city.

I enjoy the challenge and the fact that I can usually expend my ammo and successfully land the tank because the enemy never expects that someone had driven a tank any further than spawn to field on that map.

Difficult and impossible are two totally different things and the "mundane mission" guys are limited by themselves rather than the map.

Man, I feel horrible that you made yourself miserable by limiting your choices to the easiest part of the game and then there was just no way you could have actually taken off in a plane.  Oh wait, you can't spawn camp in a plane.
