The original boardgame.

I liked the Thunderbolt mech best. Medium heavy mech with lots of rockets.

We played the hell out of Battletech back in the mid 80's. Wish I'd bought all the mini's and books back then (oh, you can still get them but you'll pay way too much today).
i actually have a figure table game for mechwarrior. its based on pos WoB Jihad called mech warrior darkage. actually have a book series for it too. its really sweet how they kept the story going after the computer games' timeline. the Word of Blake was destroyed. ComStar is non-religious and has no military authority in the IS. but terrorists wiped out all interstellar communitcations and started hundreds of small wars and dozens of major wars all across the universe.

I have mechwarrior II that does not say "mercenaries" on it but it is a cd that includes a version of mechwarrior optimized for ATI cards with 3d capability.

This allows for quality that was put on later versions.

MW3 was my favorite computer game- the closest the weapons fire and feel of the tech has come to the novels in my opinion- MW4 looked nothing like the novels and game lit describe things- they got the weapons and modding system all wrong.

My favorite 'Mech is still the Atlas. That thing just looks like 100 tons of walking death is supposed to look.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
