Insurance rates on the rise in Japan
« on: December 05, 2011, 02:10:54 PM »
Bit of a balls-up here;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-16027006

A luxury sports car outing in Japan has ended in what may be one of the most expensive car crashes in history.

Eight Ferraris, three Mercedes-Benzes, a Lamborghini and two other vehicles were involved in the pile-up in the southern prefecture of Yamaguchi.

No-one was seriously hurt, but the road was closed for six hours after the accident.
"...and then we discovered why. Why this 'Cheech', who had fought with gods and demons, why he flew the Zeke. He was being kind, giving us a chance to run away."

Just because you have money and can afford to buy a performance car does not mean you are smart enough to operate it. Some of those pix should end up on epic fail posters. Stupid is as stupid does.  :rolleyes:
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

They definitely have money to toss around, especially since they are driving $100+ cars in a country that sits at $8(?) a gallon fuel.  That being said, they are all newbies, except that Black Ferrari.  Didn't see any damage to it, just pulled over with flashers on.

  they were only doing 80-100mph? sounds like they shouldn't have even been allowed a camry, much less what they were driving.
