It's been that way for years.  If you fly under a railway bridge, you blow up, yet you can drive a GV under it.  Also, if you take a PT boat under a river bridge, it kills your engine.

This is clearly a bug and should be moved to the appropriate forum. Lots of other flight simulators allow you to fly under bridges and it is clearly an important part of flying folklore (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf3UtmHLKUU)  :old:

Midway, Debrody and I were winding you up, it isn't possible to fly under a bridge no matter how good a stick you are. I also tried MachFly's experiment long ago and can confirm it's true, it's just that the thought of channel 200 being quite for several hours while you tried it would be good for the community and character building for you  :lol

there definitely is enough room to fly under. I have flown my p38 through the bridge at 85/88 spawn to entertain the spawn campers and have cleared the bridge only to explode in mid air as I climbed out. Everyone on the ground agreed I clearly made it through. I do wish they would fix the bug.

You can't fly under bridges... you can however land an airplane inside the side of a carrier (check out the port side under the middle of the flight deck...)

I posted film of it to the boards. :)
