Long Range Radar Stations

in the last days we often see organiced missions to take bases, and some people complains about it that noone do have a chance again these (hordes).

My idee is that it would be cool to get some longrange radar stations far in the back in the home lande, these radar stations can observe the enemy teritory and made horrdes earlyer visible and ouer bomber pilots will get some nice important targets to hit  :).

Perhaps make them only see large planes or large groups of planes, and make them work only above 10K or something like that.

I think we need to investigate why people are more scared of dots than bars.

I loved that radar. It made it soooooo easy to find a fight. You could tell how uneven the sides were and such. You knew what you were getting into before you got into it. It made it a lot more fun for guys like me that can pick the types of fights they like and go there.

If I saw a horde or 5 to 1 I'd look else where without wasting time upping only to get hammered by 5 guys. Less frustration, more time fighting the fights I like.

maybe it dont need to be a 360 degree Radar Circle, what about a 60 degree triangel pointed into the enmy teretory?

sure we have the darbars but we often play a bit with the sector linse so the enmy often not knew early enough were the big mission is going to, so the long range stations can help a bit.
we dont need much of them, maybe 3 for each country would be enough (belongs to the map).

it would be only a nice extra tool for the country to use or to be bombed  :)

Just thinking, make the radar stations similar to how the zone strats use to be, have the dar ring large enough to cover 4-5 bases and have  4 flak towers (pufffy) per station.

Back when the base radar range was huge, that made even having radar as a feature redundant. Why have it when the map could simply have the dots appear anywhere on it. I like to have at least a little mystery-sugar-coating to entice people's curiosity as to what the enemy is up to- for the purpose of creating a new fight.

It might be a good idea to illustrate this with a picture of an actual AH map that will show us how you you envision the implementation.
