Sure... have vehicles just throw a towrope and you should be towable... happened in real life a lot.  :aok :pray

But your wheels and/or treads need to not be damaged.
Im sure a panzer could drag some part of my plane's corpse  onto the concreate.

same way a trailer is "steered"... it just follows what is towing it.

M3 would be driverless.... like a drone in a bomber.  The tank driver can switch to the M3 when needed.  :aok

Tank could even pull a wirble and an M3 and suffer a 15mph speed penalty.  Maybe a bit much for one tank to pull 2 vehicles, but at least allow an M3 to be pulled.

A wirble weighs almost as much as a tank...it is based on a PzKw IV chassis you know.  Wonder how well
the transmission would handle pulling double weight cross country?

fine, forget the wirble... but any tank should be able to pull and M3 in neutral... bringing sups or troops.  :)

You're wishing to essentially drive two vehicles at once.

Why wouldnt EVERYONE just drive along towing their own personal set of supplies?

That'll be great, turret a tiger...oh wait nm he just repaired...over and over again

Not to mention how silly thats going to look, everyone towing a truck behind them.

I mean heck, why not let a C47 to a glider filled with troops, Who cares about getting shot down you have another plane!
^also a stupid idea

Actually, cant I just tow a fighter behind my bomber, that way I can be my own escort?
^another stupid idea

Get the point?  ;)

I have towed many a vehicle with rope/chain and none of them followed me without someone steering the towed vehicle.

-1 to idea even without the above info.

I got it troops rode on top of tanks all the time in WWII on both sides maybe let them ride there in AH too.  ohh never mind don't like that idea either

darn spelling errors

Oh, oh oh! I  have an idea:

What if you developed tanking skills, so you don't need to have resupplys on hand.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

b b b b but tankerace it would be so much easier if HT would make the gun aim itself and fire once turret is in position.

that would be way better than any amount of supplies
