+1 Cool idea!
I can be flying with my iPad on my lap just like a clipboard in flight, displaying the interactive map (and not taking up my field of flight vision). A plus if I can log in on my iPad separately just to see what is going on and chat with squadies without flying (for those road trips without my computer).
