Howdy all. I am currently looking to add 2-3 more aspiring terrain makers to the AvA Terrain Team. If you are an interested player that has a basic understanding of how the Terrain Editor works (MrMidi has downloadable tutorials in the TE forum), and would like to make some terrains for use in the AvA, custom arenas & possibly SEA, I invite you to check us out. Serious inquiries only please. Although we are not a strict outfit by any means, it does require a bit of a semi-long term commitment.
The main differences in AvA terrain from MA terrains are:
-Smaller terrains, 64x64mi or 128x128mi instead of MA's 256x256mi or 512x512mi
-Designed for a 2-sided war instead of 3
-Custom terrain textures & objects are allowed and welcomed
-Can be a real world or generic terrain
Joining the AvA Terrain Team also comes with automatic membership to the AvA Development Group and access to its forum. The Dev Group helps us Staffers with guidance & opinions, keeping an eye on the AvA for any problems or bugs & helps develop new setups to run. Participation with the Dev Group is not mandatory, but we share the same forum and work together to better the AvA. As most know, the AvA crowd is much smaller than the MA crowd, so naturally we are a closer knit group. Dev Group members also help beta test our new terrains before submission to HTC.

After running your name by the AvA Staff & Dev Group to make sure there is no history of any problems with group members, I'll get you all set up and start your training ( if necessary) to start building your first AvA terrain for submission to Skuzzy. I look forward to hopefully hear from a few of you that are willing to take the plunge.
