Request for someone to create a skin for me.

I'd like to have a sking created for a P51-D.  The scheme is a individual skin flow during WWII.  I will provide history etc.. if I can get someone to do it. 

If there are any questions.. please just ask..

Part of the 8th Air Force 55th Fighter Group, 343rd Fighter Squadron.... most likely stationed at Wormingford..

Jinkies!   She's a beauty.   Any idea whether the upper wing surfaces are drab green or natural metal?  The profile hints at metal but my guess is drab green...

Also, why is she special to you?


EDIT:  Lotsa info and profiles of Miss Velma out there - I was wrong, the wings are natural metal.

Something almost identical may already be waiting for approval to the game. I can't recall by whom so I'll wait for others to chime in.


Anybody remember this? Was it ever submitted?

NrRaven did Miss Marilyn II - believe it was submitted a year ago or so.  Very nice 55th FG scheme.

That skin is not available yet.  HTC has to take it out of the queue and put it into a skin release.  Then everybody will get it if they are set up to download the skins in game (HTC should also make it available for download on the skins download page).    That's the only way you can fly it online.

Its been sitting at HTC for more than a year though.

All skins in the MUST be approved by HTC. Once approved they are added to the game if there is room in the skins catalog (they just doubled the size of the skins catalog). Once added to the game anyone can use them.
