Air Games
« on: December 24, 2011, 12:31:57 PM »
Found a couple of games that surprised me in EB Games today.

First one: B-17: Fortress in the Sky, for Nintendo DS. I didn't know that was made for DS! Anybody played it?

Second: Heroes over Europe. PC. It looks to be pretty good eye candy (Better than AH, I daresay) but I don't know anything about the actual game... anyone played it? What do you think?

I also saw Il-2: Cliffs of Dover... nuff said. :D

Games that will never leave my memory:

Jane's WWII Flight Simulator
Enemy Engaged: Apache vs Havoc
12 O'Clock High: Bombing the Reich (I spent 6 months to finish ONE campaign)

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

SWOTL (My very 1st sim)
Red Baron
Aces of the Pacific
Aces Over Europe
MicroProse B-17 Flying Fortress (which, in my opinion, is FAR better than the newer B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th)

Oh the memories... :x

Il-2: Cliff's of Dover has some extremely nice eye candy.  Absolutely beautiful.   But the 110's in that game can roll 5 times for your Hurri's 2, doesn't matter the speed. :noid

Ace Combat 4, 5, and 0 are also amazing games. I still get my PS2 out to play them  ;)

I remember when me and my friends would get together after school just so we could go to one of our houses to play Ace Combat 5, that was the best one out of em all!

Haha... Got B-17 game and Heroes in the sky for Christmas... :aok

First sim was FS 98 :lol. That was (seemingly) amazing at the time... Now I'm playing FSX... Just awesome.

Aces High, Red Baron, FS 98, FSX, Pearl Harbour: Pacific Warriors-- anyone know that one?
And of course, Fighter Ace :D

That's all for me :P not many...
