OLD computer hardware: hd radon 5670 overclocked AMD four core CPU on bord sound 4gb of ram DDR3

NOW: HD RADON 6790 (same CPU) sound blasters sound card 8gb of ram DDR3

dieing to see how she runs aces high  :banana:

did you downloaded the drivers from the company you bought it from? or from amd themselves?  dont let windows update your video card drivers, per many warnings on the bb.

yeah i did all this, found out that i had to run 2 power liners derict from the PSU for the video card to work.

on max settings at max textures and 2048 shadow textures she runs constant 59-60 FPS. video card is water cooled sound card makes everything better no lag at all when shooting guns or lots of sounds playing at once in 5.1 surround. pics will follow. also the 8gb's of ram are very nice!

Kewl!  I just SLI'd my GTX 460's and added 6 gigs...I'm stoked for ya.

my 5.1 surround sound makes aces high sound very cool

this is my case...she as seen her better days...

here is the new video and sound card (sound card on top, video card on bottom)

new DDR3 ram sticks (4gb each)

nice gaming keybord, in the next photo you will know why i need it for aces high  :devil

and what i fly with the best joystick ever!
