2xQ:
« on: December 28, 2011, 12:24:59 PM »
Couple of Questions for anyone who might know!
1) Track IR 5, little red light refuses to come on, and when plugged in, a grey screen pops up, saying remove usb object due to overvoltage, or computer will shut down in 6 5 4 3 etc seconds.. I'm guessing the sensor in bad, sound right to you guys? (got squashed a bit in my desk drawer for a few yrs)

2) Suggestions as to what 3d headset works well with AH2 sound these days.. (under a benjy)

Thanks
PAK

1) Sounds like the TIR is putting your computer's power supply over the top. You should get a powered USB hub and plug the TIR (and probably your flight gear if USB) into it instead of to the USB on the computer itself.

2) Dunno.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

Thanks, suppose I should have said, I already tried the powered hub, samey same. Doesn't seem to be a power issue. Ordered a new one anyway. Was just curious to see if anyone else has dealt with this issue?

post your computer specs see what turns up.  it could be that your ps is already taxed to the limit.
