It is free. It comes free with any subscription. Just like special events arenas, the DA, the TA, the LWA, the MWA, etc....

All the arenas are free. You're just paying for the access point (for it to recognize your login) and after that you can do anything you like for free.

The only thing it will cost is letting a player whos 2 week trial has expired entry to the WW1 dogfight arena, you don't get more of a basic setup than the WW1 arena at the minute with only 4 planes.

The basics are easy to pick up from the off, but hard to master, perfect for newcomers to the game!

The WW1 arena was like crack when it was buzzing, very addictive gameplay.

Come on perv the game is free to download,  you get two weeks free and you want to let these people ruin the peaceful WW1 arena???

I won't be able to hear the crickets chirp due to the sound of those fokkers and camels tearing it up.

Nothing to lose really get people in the door,  let unfortunate peeps still able to fly if they can't afford a subscription any longer.   Eventually they will want more and understand the basics of flight and turn fighting.   It might make for some confident aggressive types to populate the MA.

As long as they don't start asking for new planes or maps then its ok.  I think US ranger did a new map anyway.   :D

It will be the home of the Noob Baron, may be pretty lively in there too for a change.

the other big plus point is getting controllers setup for flight.   Yes people can go offline and do it with some research but the average noob just won't do that.  They want to be gunning down some red guy and be a fighter pilot hero!

They will sign up, go rushing into the main arena and then ask country "how do I turn my engine on" (insert alt+f4 jokes)   and waste their free trial and won't look back thinking that game sucks too complicated, not going to pay for that   :bhead

Go to the training arena and it might just be empty at 2am East coast.   As a community romper room of sorts it would at least provide a much bigger hook  IMO.

I would even go in there if it had 20+  people because I enjoy the different style of combat and people would then be able to help some of the free loaders with controller setup.
