Just a thought that popped into my head and I'm not sure what to think of it myself.

What if the vehicle spawns or some vehicle spawns, say into large airfields had a destroyable bridge that rebuilds itself after a certain amount of time.  Or the repair time could be based on amount of damage done.

Just a random thought.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Nah, I mean the yellow arrows that show what fields you can spawn into from another field.

I love bombing GVs in towns.  They're so much easier to lead when they're confined to a road.  I also wonder how much I'd like it if the maproom had an M-1 in it for a pilot to grab.  A flamethrower might be interesting as well.

i like that bridge over the river idea.  make it so that gvers can't cross until a goon resups it or something :bolt:

I'm not sure destroyable bridges are possible, at least with our current terrain editor.

I think I migh have found a way, but I'm still working on the map. It will be cool even minus destroyable bridges, so I'm just trying to get it done.

And if I understand it correctly, the bridges I'm making will still be destroyable, but the 'destroyed' bridges will still be functional.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

TwinRivr terrain has destroyable bridges.  Fun during tank battles in the AvA.

This was brought up awhile back by I think myself or another that I elaborated on...I think this idea is great! I believe that there should be some type of destroyable structures that can stem a large scale GV assault on a Vehicle/Town/Airbase would add even more realism to AH. For example:

There is a large Armored force moving into the town at A%^. They have yet to get within 2 or 3 k of it but they still have to cross the only "Heavy Bridge" that can support Medium or Heavy Tanks. This bridge may cross a stream, a wadi (have seen them in Afghanistan and they can be as wide as 30 meters and just as deep), or even a canyon (such as those on the Pizza Map although I think it would be easier to add rivers to the current map group). So a few Brave Attack Pilots lift off in their Jugs and proceed to destroy this bridge with maybe 5k of Ord that will cause the NME Assault to have to hold position for say, 10 min...enough time for a QRF of Tanks and TD's to rush to meet the advance!

This is another great idea that will increase the depth of game play.  Jabo's and bombers hitting hardened Railroad yards and bridges that have some defined impact on the game play.   More Strat options to attack!   

I always thought train hunting over europe would be a great Friday night squad Op's battle....

After that, F6Fs can bomb the enemy GVs at their leisure. So you suggest multiple bridges, so I get some squadmates to help bottle up the enemy GVs, no problem. This works in the AvA because there are low player numbers, controls on bombers and multiple bridges at the bases in question.

Not trying to be a party poopper.

Yes, obviously you would have to incorporate multiple crossing points for that reason alone. Its bad enough there are GV fights where bomb****s circle for hours on end padding those attack scores, now imagine the horror of 20 or 30 GVs sitting in a group waiting for 1 bridge to respawn...think Mcfly think!

kill the vh.  guaranteed to stop gv's for at least 15 minitues.  what you want is to make it easier to stop gv's from rolling into town either to defend or to attack just by blowing up a bridge.  while it does sound cool, it's just an easy way out of actually destroying the vh, specially from a gv base that has 3 vh hangars.
