Super Bowl Aces High Style

Use your imagination just a bit.  Taking the available planesets in the game, transposing them onto the individual football team positions and keeping the team exclusive to an individual country.   Which aircraft would you use?

Maybe the 262 as runningback. 163 is a receiver of some sort, and I'm trying to think of something for the quarterback, but not coming up with anything.

Funny that you mention it; I was gonna use that as the quarterback, but decided against for some reason.

I agree you wouldn't want something that takes awhile to accelerate for a running back.

38's as linebackers- big, strong, fast, good visibility of the field
jugs as defensive ends- big, strong, lots of firepower
k4's as corners- good vertical speed to get up and knock away passes
ponies as safeties- good visibility, fast, decent firepower

Oh, here:

262-A-1: runningback
163: receiver
410: quarterback, with that big 50mm
262-U-4 would work too.
Storch: referee :D

P40s are the cheerleaders.  They're pretty to look at but don't really do much

You can see all round pretty well if you don't mind tipping the wings a little.
