Thought I'd share with you guys.  Here's a .rar file with some of the ones I've created.  Grab them if you like.  Some are NSFW.  There's one I REALLY like called 'silence' which I assign to any random 800 etc number that calls me.

I picked up the software to make them out of almost any audio file so I'm willing to do a few for you guys this weekend as time allows.

Do they work only with iPhone or do they work with Android to?

they're in M4R format.  I don't know what format droid uses but I can probably convert if you want or upload the mp3 versions

But it isnt capable stock for what I need it to be. Tough. I can drop mine form a 40' ladder or toss it in a swimming pool.(I've done both) I can even freeze it in a block of ice and it would still work. as  meets the military's 801G specifications for water, dust, shock, salt fog, vibration, solar radiation, and temperature extremes.


And the speakers in mine sound  nicer and louder then the iphone when playing music. (we've compaired em side by side)

My lifestyle is too tough for the iphone. It just woudnt survive me.

Oh and I've yet to find any of the complaints in in any of the reviews to be accurate or valid.

If your a deskjocky, Like to wear flowered shirts,dress up on womens underwear,fly spits, or are a woman the iphone is great. 

but if you actually work for a living or do anything worthwhile out doors and need something thats badarse tough right out of the box.

I left the room for five minutes today, heard a crash, came running back to my room and saw the tower and the laptop knife fighting over her... I sent them to their separate corners and shoved her in my pocket.

A few minutes later she started vibrating and said 'what can I do for you today?' then 'I don't understand the command', and so on and so on.

Foul temptress.. I had to kill the power to get some peace. 

At least I didn't have to hand her a credit card and point her towards the mall.

Casio is mostly known to make wrist watches. Now phones? Must be jumping to the android clone bandwagon.

I'm a homeowner that does often DIY stuff and I've never had a single problem with the iPhone. Also at my white collar work it's been great.

I live in scandinavia and I've used the iPhone at maximum temperature of 40C and minimum -32c. It did shut down automatically once when I left it directly exposed to the sun on a hot summer day. But the phone was already too hot to touch. I've used the iPhone in snow and rain. Works. I don't feel any need to drop it in glasses of water though. If it drops to the ocean nobody will find it anyway so what's the point.

the point he was trying to make is this: if you don't live a bashful life where even when you try not to, things happen, i.e you get cuts, scrapes and every piece of clothing you wear gets worn out quicker then the average joe, the the phone he has is good for you. take for example a logger. tree branches dont keep their hands off you, they sometimes like to trip you too. who wants to spend another 50 or 100 bucks every week because they buy a cheapy phone, when they could spend 200 up front and know the phone is gonna take the abuse.

Thanks Dichotomy! There's some great stuff in there that I will definately use. Right now I'm kinda screwed because my phone won't connect to my pc with usb plugged in

Imo the only reason to have a 'tough' phone is working at a plant that requires Eex ratings i.e. explosion danger rating or a very dirty job where a touch screen is out of question anyway. Anything other can be covered with a protective sleeve and common sense.

I don't even use a sleeve though. If it scratches it scratches. It's just a tool.

But if you're happy with the functionality of your phone that's great. But to say iPhone wouldn't handle 99% of environments is just wrong.

Yes I do listen to the built in speaker. Sounds damn good too.
This phone has outlasted my "tough" jobsite radio. which is why I started using it as a radio and was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality.
Does it sound like a high end stereo system? No. But it does sound better then the Iphone speakers. And is about 100 times smaller then my "tough" jobsite radio is. which means I dont have to make an extra trip out to the truck just to bring it in. I only need the charger which I carry in a pouch on my toolbag.

I am outside for work or play in all kinds of weather in all kinds of conditions. For example I also like to canoe the Delaware river and wouldnt hesitate to bring this phone along out of fear of the canoe flipping. Yes you can get the iphone a little wet from rain or snow. But can you submerge it for any length of time?
Bet you wouldnt even try. Least not without some aftermarket protective casing. This phone comes built protected to begin with.
My last GZone phone sat in a 6" deep puddle for 7 hours because it fell out of my beltpouch while I was powerwashing on a  rainy day and didnt notice till I got home that night without any ill effects whatsoever.
Last week I accidentally stepped on this one and nothing happened Its also dropped off ladders as high as 30 feet when it slipped out of my hand taking a call.

I know one guy who in a pinch has used one as a hammer to bang in nail pops.

Iphone is a nice phone. No doubt about it. Especially of your one of the described above. But my lifestyle is just too rough for it. certainly rougher then most peoples. I wouldnt hesitate to subject the GzOne to things I would even consider subjecting iPhones or Droids or most other phones to.

Nope. wouldnt say that either.
But I would say that the GZOne would handle and survive 99% of environments better and longer then an Iphone will. Particularly stock.
