I haven't entered a single command into the game...  I've played this completely Vanilla with the original release.  I've had to Thuum my way around some broken quests, google some work arounds for some other bugs, reinstall sounds for a quest... but other no cheating.  Cheating is for noobs.  What's the point of having a badass game that'll take months to beat, if you just want to cheat your way to the end and be done with it.

Me too, except I've installed a number of mods - only graphics enhancements to make the world look even better.

I'm starting to play around with the console a little, because I've got an idea for a movie I want to make.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

I'll have to look into using Illusion spells more as the concept sounds really cool, and it's evident that they can be very effective. Destruction and Conjuration are still my preferred, however. I can't wait to unlock the Master-level destruction spells and the Summon Dremora Lord spell. That thing looks like one bamf.

Enchanting all of em. Smithing heavy side, to get to the Dragon Armor.

Other then that just using the overdraw on Bow, and the sneak to 3x crit shot for bow.

One hand weapon just the base

Im playing a cat now (kji'ite)

I plan on modding this game soon as the Creation Kit becomes available.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

I really don't understand why there is crafting in that game in the sense of it costing skill points. Once you make yourself the armors you need thats it. They dont wear off or get damaged or anything... so its guaranteed that you will reach a point where all those skill points are simply wasted.

I've filmed my shield mage taking down a troll ... which would've 2-shot me if i had no shield. Posting it up soon. Also will be putting up the illusion-rage spell video.

Here it is:

Its a three fight video. First is yeti battle showing shield+destruction magic. Second shows the use of illusion rage spells plus shield and destruction magic fight... and how the game tends to lock up my mouse at times when i switch spells (its why i couldnt even block or cast and got killed grrr). Third is the long range use of fury spell to clear out the castle full of high level casters. :)

once the enemy is in slow motion, u can drop the shield move around an open up on em. You can get quite a few attacks in especially if their power attack takes forever. :D

mine
blocking- bashing and disarming opponents while stayin protected

one handed-  cuz i imagine im playin a badas version of zelda.. and to cut heads off.

heavy armor...

and archery for le distance kills.

yeah but the moment you lower the shield guard the slow-down-time effect ends. Sure, you can move out of the way of the incoming hit, flank the enemy, drop shield and stick a knife in them but that still leaves my caster-cat too close to getting hit yet again. I love the stagger effect from shield bash.

During that video my cat was level 22 with only 100 health, 100 stamina and 280 magicka so any hit ...hurts. Especially when wearing leather armor and no perks spent in armor. Now it is level 29 and uses a heavy dwarven shield which does a lot more damage per bash hit than the light elven plus it covers the body a lot more. I've all perks in shield except the run-with-shield and chance-to-disarm-bash perks (don't need 'em).

Overall the shield IS my armor. So many times i'm running in the wild and get jumped out of nowhere by something and *BLOCK* the attack.... its glorious. Once I get the archmage robes im wearing those and sitting behind me shield. :rock

consul commands are not just for cheating.....I hated how my character was the same size as everyone else...not anymore :D
