many people have brought up the issue. with 29, latest was the 262 if it got ords, and lancs. in topics long ago and just posted (Babylon i believe). i think hitech commented on a b29 topic that they were considering perked ords

Why not perk certain, rare but potent loadouts?

perk plane then
The plane carrying the weapon may not warrant perking with other, more common loadouts.  What advantage is there to not having a perk loadout system?  It would allow granularity that just perking the entire aircraft does not.

Posit the Do217 for example.  The Fritz X guided weapon may need to be perked, but the Do217 with any other weapon system would not warrant a perk cost.  Why should the Do217 with conventional bombs be perked?

Pyro a couple of years ago in response to having additional ordnance packages for planes like the B-25H talked about a perked ordnance system.  It's a good idea and one I wish would come sooner rather than later.

but how would you have a separate ords perk bank and would diff ords give u more or less per target. perk the plane much easier. ords perking system is all risk no reward and lame from it. perks on a plane are saved by landing but ords would need a separate system to work and thus harder to employ.

You wouldn't have a separate bank.  You would spend bomber perks, fighter perks or vehicle perks depending on the type of unit being used.  It would be up to HTC to decide if your perks would be refunded if you brought the unit back without the perk ordnance.  I bet that is how it would work though, as long as you bring the unit back you get your perks refunded.

Perked so that the P47, P51, P38, and Typhoons dont ALWAYS take the 1000s as a replacement for a bomber.  I highly doubt this was used often.  And I would even guess that it was never used in the case of CV operations.

+1 to perked ords IMO

All loadouts that use greater than 500lb (250kg) bombs should carry a light perk IMO. Paid for with bomber perks.

Rare gun packages (or some that were field fitments) should carry a light perk IMO.

.e.g

La7 2 gun package perk = 0
La7 3 gun package perk = 1

Hurri mkii a&b  VVS 2 x Shvak 20mm + 2 x UBT(K) 12.7mm, with or without 6 x RS 82 rockets or 2 x100kg bombs. = 1 perk
Mossie VI Tsetse with 1 x 57mm AP = ? perks

All perks re embursed upon landing successfully.
