Leo Bodnar Controllers
« on: January 14, 2012, 02:03:34 AM »
Just a warning that Leo Bodnar has stopped responding to emails and many of his items are listed 'out of stock' on his website. I do not know if he has simply lost interest or something has happened to him. I sent back one of my two BU0836A Controllers which had stopped working, he said he'd take a look at it for me and advise regarding repair / replacement and that's the last I've seen of it or heard from him.

I don't know if anyone here has had any contact with him in the last year?

Bit of a shame if he's jacked it all in, now I'm short one controller. Does anyone know of any similar USB controllers that are presently available?

I bought a BU0836 from him about 6 or 7 months ago with no issues.  Shipping was very fast and it works great.  Just before that he did have some things going on in his life (his boards are a hobby and not his main income generator) and he quit selling them for a while.  Maybe he's just busy again.

Or maybe he's just waiting for a new shipment of BU0836A boards.  The BU0836 board isn't out of stock but the A is.

As far as emails go.. well he gets to them when he gets to them.  IIRC I once saw him post something on a board that his life does not revolve around his business as he has other things going on.

12 months is an unreasonable amount of time to ignore a customer who has returned a product they have paid for. I still don't have it, and no communication either.

I didn't realize that you sent it back to him 12 months ago.  I guess just keep sending him emails.  lbodnar@dsl.pipex.com
