C 202/205 same builder as the MC 200. They use the inline DB 601 (202) and DB 605 (205) engines from german 109s. The 200 used the italian built radial. Italians did not develope any inline engines during the war so they depended on german technology.

Hell of a lot nicer looking than something like a Hurricane or a P-38, or a spitfire. The first two remind you of draft horses, while the third reminds you of a racing horse's unlucky cousin.

I think the hurri is a sexy plane

so is the P38

quick story about the second pic - My dad met the pilot (Jack Illfrey) (he worked for frost bank for 30 years) the P51 that is painted after his lives at KSAT and I've gotten to sit in it.

The guy that owns it (Dr Winter) is a great guy. He used to fly F18s

Unfortunately Jack passed away before I took a big interest in WW2 and I never got to meet him, but he was a great american and hero.

People always say she is ugly, but i like her... Compared to the Packat and Boxcar, i think she looks even better.

Your saying that this does not look good?

Of course it doesn't look good. Its like any other animal you would buy for show. Upon initial look, it seems a fine specimine. But a closer examination reveals major flaws.

1) it doesn't look at all predatory
2) its clearly going to have some issues with roll
3) poor low 12 o'clock view
4) it just looks flimsy

And for those that know about it
5) poor handling
6) tendancy for engine damage
7) dweeb/newb ride  :ahand

So overall, attractive to the ignorant and stupid, but a horendous monstrosity for those expierenced enough to see beyond its clean lines.
