New beta version
« on: January 17, 2012, 05:49:42 PM »
Just a heads up that there's a new beta version available.  We think we have all those CTD bugs squished and expect that this will be the last beta if nothing major comes up.  Please check it out the beta forum for more info.

When it goes live I'll get it. I'm really looking forward to seeing the hard work yall do for all of us AH addicted heathens. :)

Now if yall are short some testers I'll jump in.

While the ground clutter is definately a step in the right direction it's really nothing spectacular. If it extended out farther than 50yds from your tank it would be but as it is right now it looks kind of ridiculous.

It's a small thing I know but I tend to think of it as Ground Cover rather then ground clutter.
Easy in-game again.

Im really digging the aspect of manable arty in the game. Im probabale gonna be first to die to it, BUT, Thank You HTC.

Beta was looking slick on my end. Didnt have all the Bells and whistles on, but looked good to me.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Directly overhead like a passing bomber box, or nose-on direct like a dive bombing jabo?

buffs can be ranged easily, fighters are a problem - you need to lead out quite a bit and range at the same time - Nose on direct jabo's are a easy kill as long as you have them under ranged (i.e Icon says 1.5k you better be ranged at 1,000).

A turn and burn fighter, not so much, I tried for an hour and couldn't hit anything, then again a few months tinkering with one would be different.
