Transparent edges on logo
« on: January 19, 2012, 08:53:57 AM »
When I uploaded the logo for Skull Squad I followed the instructions for making it. 256 bmp, with the background set to 176/176/176. however when I load it up on my planes that grey border is still there. Any solution?

hey Skull,

you need to put anything you want transparent in the same grey colour as around this one.

And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

When you converted it from 32 bit color to 256 bit color the colors probably shifted around the edge of the image.  Just paint them with the transparency color, after you convert it from 32 bit color.

I did, 3 times. I dunno.
Also why is it my squad only shows up in the TA and WWI Arena? In the EA-MA-LA it wont let me do anything squad based.

The transparency color is now pure white #000000 use that instead of the gray and it will work.

Maybe :    WWII - .:Pending:.

Well by .:PENDING:. i meant that it hasn't been formed in the main arena. It wont let me edit or even create the squad in the first place.

No I'm not in a squad there. And I seem to be a Squad of 1 in the TA and WWI Arena.
Lol.

WW1 and Training arenas have separate squads than the Late, Mid and Early arenas.  If you want a squad in those arenas, you will have to form one in one of them (Early, Mid or Late) which will cover all three.

Why is it I was allowed to form a squad in the TA and WWI but not the Main arena?
As I said, I'm a squad of 1 in TA-WW1

Game-wise there is nothing that would prevent you from making a squad in the Main Arena with the exception I asked about, already being in a squad.

To be absolutely sure, goto the O'Club and double check.

There is nothing to prevent the formation of a squad in the Late War arena.  What makes you think you cannot create a squad in the Late War arena?

Again, the TA and WW1 are separate from the Late, Mid and Early arenas.  If you create a squad in the TA or the WW1, it will not show in the Late, Mid, or Early arenas.
