A nice Aces High moment outside of Aces High (DCS A-10C)

A guy was vulching the base with Mavericks and JDAMs while we were starting up (which takes about 5 minutes to do correctly). So I turned the missile warning system up to max sensitivity and looked for his next launch. He popped up when he sent a Maverick toward the base, spotted his dot - put 2 AIM-9s and saw'd his wing off with the GAU-8.

All said, a normal day in the MA.

It isn't that bad.  My system is two years old but its parts are closer to three years old.

I had download version from DCS, and sick of doing 2 hour reinstalls n patches. Bought steam version - worked first time

Last night with Solus and another guy.

Convoy was hit by IEDS and ambushed by light infantry and IFVs.

I brought FFAR's just by chance and on,y them - seems to have been the right choice. My gun was shot out after the first pass but it wasn't needed. Likely reflective of our current environment in OEF.
