Custom object problem
« on: January 23, 2012, 08:34:09 AM »
Tried creating a custom tile. I pieced several rwy objects together to make a large concrete pad but after putting a copy of it in both the texsrc and userlib folders it doesn't show in the TE objects list.

Can someone post a step by step, so I can figure out where I am going wrong?

Set the tile properties as in the image below before you build the tile.

After you build the tile in the object editor...copy the .shp file from your .....\ah2editor\newshps folder to your terrains texsrc folder.
If you only used the default AH objects and placed them in the object editor, that should be the only file you need.

Let me know if that doesn't fix it.

Shoot, I forgot to say that I was using the .til file instead of the .shp

After I used the correct file it was fine.  :lol
