All-time Favorite B Movie
« on: January 24, 2012, 04:44:56 PM »
"10 Items Or Less"

Morgan Freeman is a great actor. Paz Vega is a babe (..."eets Target") and the film was made on location with a very low budget.
Very catchy tune.......La Receta. Couple well known actors in the film with cameo appearances also.

Army of Darkness

I could have stayed in the past... could have even been king.

...but in my own way I am king.

HAIL TO THE KING BABY!

Yes....  Bruce Campbell was the man.  And still is too.

I'll go with Bats.  Because I want to say Starship Troopers, but I doubt it qualifies as "B" (though the sequels certainly do, but they stink).  And both Starship Troopers and Bats have Dina Meyer in it, and Dina is a babe.  The first time I saw the movie Bats, it was on SciFi, and I was flipping the channels and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the hot scientist lady.  The movie was actually not terrible, and when I figured out she was Dina Meyer I was sold.

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

absolutely positively Death Race 2000 (The original)  It was Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine's first feature film too

The Gods Must be Crazy is another all time favorite.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

:aok for both of these. Saw "Gods" about 20 times in New Jersey at one of those midnight matinee theaters.

And can't leave out Rocky Horror Picture Show. Never saw the live show, but the movie is great.
