Northern Italy  1944

This week's set ups depicts the skies over
Northern Italy.
 Late 1944 B-24s and B-17s pounded targets
in Northern Italy. They were escorted by P51

Mustangs and P47s.
At the same time P38 and P47 fighter-bombers
eroded the effectiveness of trains and
vehicle supply lines on the ground.


ALLIED OBJECTIVES:

Attack sector 11,9

Destroy Axis STRAT targets,
factories radar facilities
amo production and any
ground targets of opportunity.

But not the best dogfighter of them all, the D-11, such a shame. Another example where a late model is needed :old:

Karnak I believe by late 44 both the 31st and 52nd FGs of the USAAF 15th AF who had flown the Spit 5 8 and 9 were in P-51s.

Expect the unexpected. Hunt, or be hunted!  

Its recommended that You be looking out of the canopy. Not on your clip map.. keep your head on a swivel


The Action Continues with this weeks 24/7 scenario.


Strat targets are being Pounded by allied ground attack aircraft
and heavy bombers escorted by P51 mustangs and P47's



Axis fighter aircraft are moving into the area in an effort to fend off the onslot.

The air, land and sea battle continues with this weeks 24/7 scenario.





 The AVA will be launching a mission headed by captain1ma AKA(Jeager)on


 Thursday February 2, 2012, in the AVA.
Time: 2100(9pm) EST

 Allies-Axis, vox 123.
 
Start bases V1(Allies) and V2(Axis)
PT boats only until T+10--objective kill other PTboats, and soften opposite base with extreme prejudice. No bombers please. The first 10 minutes is PT boats only.

T+10--Objective capture other base with tank, boats and LVT's only. no bombers please. The next 30 minutes is Tanks and PTboats if you like.

at first base capture or T+40,  move to tanktown up north for full scale tank battle, bombers and attack aircraft allowed. No holds barred.


we will use all existing equipment that is in the setup.










The air action will still Continue during the mission
