sux when you lose someone....sux worse when its for a bogus pointless war.

.....Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they've always done before

Look at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done before

My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of god and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars

D'you wear a black armband
When they shot the man
Who said "peace could last forever"
And in my first memories
They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can't trust freedom
When it's not in your hands
When everybody's fightin'
For their promised land
And

I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
Ow, oh no, no, no, no, no

Look at the shoes you're filling
Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing
The way we've always done before
Look in the doubt we've wallowed
Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lies we've swallowed
And I don't want to hear no more

My hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of god or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

"We practice selective annihilation of mayors and
Government officials for example to create a vacuum
Then we fill that vacuum as popular war advantage
Peace is closer" **

I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
And I don't need your civil war
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no uh-oh-uh, no uh-oh, uh no
I don't need one more war

I don't need one more war
No, no, no, no uh-oh-uh, no uh-oh, uh no
Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway?

Good God you're an idiot.

Please go grab your guitar and serenade yourself with protest songs right off the edge of a cliff.

please, try and keep the politics out of a thread like this. We're honoring a brave man who paid the ultimate price for those who can't or won't.

"politics" have NOTHING to do with it.

I know many people who died over there and I am sick of it.......until people wake the f up...this is NEVER going to end.

So sad to hear about your loss, and Wojo my prayers are with your son also.  Uptown bro, Westfield Crap are just a bunch of sick minded lawyers that can go to hell.  I sincerely hope the bikers are able to block them from view and sound as has been done in the past.  You had best set an example for the courage that his family (and you also - words can't discribe how I feel right now) will have to summon to push through a PROPER tribute to your friend's life.  Remember his good deeds more than his passing.  Offer to tell the truth of how great a person he was and this will help to drown the ignorant lies from those poor bastards of WBC.  They truly don't deserve the rights that your friend fought to protect, and that is all that their protests will show the world, and does nothing to tarnish his image.

I think you guys totally missed my point.....

I understand how painful it is when you lose someone you love...it is the worst feeling in the world......

every time I have tattooed someone and heard their story of a lost one from this war it hits right at home. I have shed MANY tears for loved ones with people and each and every time it makes me angrier and angrier.

and I am talking about HUNDREDS of people who have told me their story...its always the same....... someone dies for a senseless war.

when are we gonna realize that killing for "peace" is about as ignorant as it gets.....

I for one am sick and tired of people dieing for others wants.

its about time we said ENOUGH.

some more words to think about.

"Masters Of War"

Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build all the bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks.

You that never done nothin'
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly.

Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain.

You fasten all the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion'
As young people's blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud.

You've thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins.

How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
That even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do.

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul.

And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand over your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead.

No, your point is loud and clear.

You decided to use a thread dedicated to a fallen Marine as an excuse to hop up on your soapbox and regale us with your political beliefs.

It is a classless, love muffin move, and you own it all too well.

I apologize profusely to Uptown for being a part of this thread going south. I am all done here.

Your friend has nobly offered the ultimate sacrifice in a selfless effort to help rid the world of tyranny and to give others a chance to achieve the freedoms that we enjoy

hilarious...as long as there are idiots like you that believe this BS then they will never be short of meat for the grinder
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

We served for you anyway Coombz...whether you wanted it or not, believed in or not, liked it or not, payed taxes or not...you remind me of something Gen Tommy Franks said..."Men, when you get home and see the anti-war protestors...don't get angry and don't have any hate in your heart...just smile and wink at their girlfriend because she knows she's dating a p u z z y".

I'm by no means anti war, you don't know jack

I just can't keep a straight face when people trot out bollocks like 'saving the world from tyranny' with regard to conflicts in the middle east

there are none so blind...as Americans  :rofl
