Is it that time again?
« on: January 29, 2012, 07:02:27 PM »
There are 500 people in late war at the moment. I know that it is a weekend and it is prime time for most people to be playing, but does anyone think it may be good to split the arena's again; at least on the weekends?

One arena for guys in a squad and the other for the guys not in squads.
Split arenas already killed off most of the old squads and I personally
wouldn't like to see those that have started up or have been rebuilding
get dealt a dirty hand again.

-1000 Like Odd said, NO!  Heck, what is wrong with all the other arenas, isn't there plenty or room there?  :bolt:

I would much rather have too many options in one arena than not enough options in many arenas.  Besides with my pistpoor connection and rig, I never had any real problems playing on a server with at least that many on.  Only on some occasions would vox go out for a little while.

What kinds of problems did you find with ~ 500 players?

That is exactly what we need again. More capped arenas and the prime time log off and new map thing. Can't wait!  :x

I personally never had a problem getting into the arena where squaddies/friends were flying, or with finding/creating a fight in low #'s arenas, some just aren't as lucky or patient. Either way it is a huge sticking point for many and I don't think we'll see a change back anytime soon. Unless, of course, it's on the basis of "It's how it used to be."

So I'm saying there's a chance!   :D

Split the arenas... that is, as long as we get the 1 hour change country setting back again.   :devil

I honestly preferred the two arena system, I think there's a critical mass that get's reached at a certain point, a population density particularly on the smaller maps where game play begins to suffer.

I liked having two different late war arenas, it gave me two choices of maps, two chances to find a good fight.  I also don't recall it taking more than 5 minutes or so to get in the same arena as squaddies except on a few rare occasions.

I logged on during my prime time last week and there were 40 people on. An all time low I think, lets not get to hasty about splitting arenas again. For the record, I believe split capped arenas blow chunks.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

I want large player numbers and big battles...otherwise I'd be playing another game and not paying a subscription

-1 to split LW arenas!
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.
