Maproom Question
« on: January 30, 2012, 02:29:22 PM »
Why doesn't the maproom have a map in it?
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I thought that was due to the locobusters interrupting our supply lines.

M. A. P. room it's not what you think it is.........

Missing

Portal

Hidden in that room is a worm hole that will deposit you onto a foreign planet should you ever find it.

I cannot tell you how to activate it as I am sworn to secrecy by Magadellan Rule. I will only activate it myself if I need to return home.

In early versions, the map room did have a map in it and you could move to it just like the Tower,Hangar, Officers club.

It was originally used to select your field, but all of its functionality was moved to the clip board, so it no longer needed the detail.

When we later redid the towns and other objects , that map room was remodeled with out the map.

Why doesn't the maproom have a map in it?

Because the gamey moops who sit in them couldn't figure out how to read one.

I found one behind a particular type of field's spawn vehicle hanger.

Perhaps HTC could code a Risk game into the map room?  Then we would have a map, and something to do with it while in the map room!

In fact the table in the "map room" was the actual map room object which troops caused "damage" against.

I remember we did a version on a terrain where the map table was simply under camo netting on a dirt strip field.
