there is are two official cons that I am aware of,  once a year in Texas I believe,  then there is one in the Netherlands. As for the get together in Finland, is that an HTC sponsored event?

Would've loved to be able to attend a EuroCon (if only so dhyran could give me a stern talking to), but sadly that's off the cards now :(

You don't know any of those people so dont judge them.

I have no way to respond to this that wont get me a PNG. All I have to say is you aren't a contributor to this board and your sole activity here is flaming and trolling. This board would be better off without you.

You're just a salamander who has nothing better to do than troll on the boards.

I'm probably wrong but I didn't think any cons were sponsored by HTC other than they show up, participate and give some prizes.

As I understand it from back in AW days, Cons are planned and set up by individuals that play not by the company.

Having only gone to one AW con in 1986(?), I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

No, I think HTC is involved in the normal cons. They show up, they give discussions, face time, etc. The always-surprising "Con Missions" are only possible because HTC codes them into the game code (sharks with lazers, jet powered Fokkers, etc)

We use to organize and run all the conventions. As the number of people attending dwindled,(my guess is do to the newness of meeting people in the online world where off) it no longer was worth our direct time.

The last few con's were not organized by us, but we help with fee collection and a announcements.
