"David Wales." That name should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests.

Perhaps it's fate that today is the 7th of February, and you will once again be fighting for our BBS freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist.

And should we win the day, the 7th of February will no longer be known as an BBS holiday, but as the day David Wales and friends declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!"

We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our BBS Independence Day!
That could almost be an entry into the Book of Dweeb
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Originality and superior intelect are too often misunderstood and deemed threatening, thus resulting in harsh criticism & unwarranted attacks by those who stand fast in their ways, refusing to consider the endless possibilities of radical change and improvements of a society.....sadly this was not the case with David Wales.

Here lies the body of poor David Wales
Who died telling too many BBS tales
He was very entertaining
But needed restraining
Because most of his posts were pure fails

I humbly disagree with the fly by. Partly because I'd hate to subtract from any of our actually deceased members who more than earned theirs. No, what David would have wanted is for the community to get behind him and let your wishes be known. I ask each and every one of you to research and post a ww2 wish for David (placed of course in the wish list, David's favorite section of the bbs). I believe the simple gesture of tagging DWMW (David wales memorial wish) at the end will suffice. And when the day comes that we are dropping nukes and shooting down cv's with donkeys with rocket launchers, then and only then can we immortalize our fallen friend.
