Dear 80TH Head Hunters...
« on: February 06, 2012, 06:50:27 PM »
This past week took me to Southern California so of course I had to run by Planes of Fame, Chino, California. I took dozens of pics to include some P-38 action. I'm guessing you twin-boom drivers have all of those you can stand. Here's one though. They had a bench dedicated to the 80th. Thinking of those annoying -38s turning like Spit 5s I took a picture. My thought was I'd trade it for one pass at Mir, he at less then 145mph, flaps and gear down. He needs to be at 5k though, no vulching.

If you want this pic you must sacrifice Mir. Or PM me, whichever comes first. Or a pic of your hottest housewife. And no, nekked pics of Dadkev do not count.

Met Steve Hinton soon afterwords pulling dipsticks on same 38.  Real nice approachable guy for being a rockstar in my eyes.

I call BS here, that B-38 is in pristine condition, clearly no 80th HH flew this plane It must be photo shopped I can tell because I seen many photo shops in my time.

Sadly that bird was painted as an 80th HH 38 prior to the current markings.  It used to be based in Minnesota too back when Planes of Fame had a spot at Anoka County Airport.  It's a 38J too.  Kinda miss her.  Thankfully we've got an 80th marked 38L in Minnesota now though  :aok

Now about Plaz's wife.... :)

I'll post the picture tonight after work. As for the hot "wife" picture, I'm OK that you cropped your wife out. What's her friends name?

Too much is never enough?

One pic was of a recon version. Ok, I'll post those as well when I get home tonight.

Rear view of the He-162. Very small plane.

As promised "The Bench" Chino, California...Planes Of Fame

Up close, recon version

Info on this version. Never even knew it existed

Step back shot, furthest I could get without losing view

The spinney thing

Put this together complete with wings found on Guadalcanal. This bird actually saw combat

The history, rare among rare

The PonyD just looks fast standing still

A6M(?), clean bird didn't catch which version

This P-51D went for a ride shortly after I left. Turds wouldn't let me climb in back!

Recon version of the F7F

This bird saw combat. Made a couple kills, lost engine and landed in Russia, recovered in 2003

Fw-190A4, I think. Great bird, 4X20mm setup

Yak something or other haha
