Guess they need to remodel the Warhammer a wee bit so that it doesnt look like Robotech's cartoon.

Such a sad thing, too.   :frown:

They already had. The WHM they used in the video looked more like a IIC version (though the game was supposed to be set at the end of the third succession war).

I don't know. The Warhammer'ish lookalike mech they used in the promo video caused an immediate cease and desist order by Harmony Gold USA (owners of the Robotech franchise). IGN even had to take down the video. When FASA went under so did their licensing rights for the Robotech models.
that was the warhammer mkI. also you missed the jenner that vaulted onto the building. the jenner is unseen also

Clearly they've taken more than a few creative licenses with the Warhammer model in the video (posted above).

Here's the WHM-6R from the 3025 technical readout:

The video above was supposedly only a test graphical presentation of what the game was supposed to look like.  Obviously, they hit a legal snafu.

Hopefully, they are able to get MWOL out and not have it be a piece of crap.

They are saying it WILL be 2012.  I have my doubts.

It represents the IS version yes, but they've clearly changed it a lot: High torsos, arms angle outwards, legs with visible joints, foot with a heel, no spotlight and countless other changes. Probably in an attempt to avoid copyright infringement.

Meh. Anything like that will automatically draw comparisons to BattleTech/MechWarrior. That one just looks like a run of the mill FPS that uses those powered armor suits from The Matrix universe to me.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
