I go through stages with the 38 though, seems like every few tours I go off and fly something else. Its good to jump around the plane set a little, keeps planes from getting stale. (To me at least.)

For ground attack I like the Typhoon or the 38s.

Fighter...La7.

I occasionally will fly the KI-84, but I keep forgeting its not a La7 until parts start falling off.

If it wasn't for the parts falling off in steep long dives, I'd probably fly the 84 alot more.

I have so many! In no particular order....

F4u-1D - Was one of the three planes I flew in AW. Big, blue, fast, and great guns. With AH modeling it turns with almost anything, what more could you ask for!

P51D - Sleek, fast, great guns, and can be surprising low and slow.

P38J - another AW favorite, Big and beautiful. One of the prettiest planes in the air. Does everything well and can be used for anything.

F6F -  The third plane from AW, even though it's not the same model. The F4u's little brother. Big and blue, with the same great guns. Tough as nuts and a real turner.

109-G2 - Quick and agile, a "snappy" little turner.
