Van Halen is BACK!!!

For those of you that are fans of Van Halen, I highly suggest you check out their newly (as in today!) released music ASAP.  The music is amazing!  Some of it music that was never released from when Dave was still in the band, and some of it is fresh and all new in 2012.  Please leave the Dave vs Sammy vs Gary vs Michael vs Wolfy drama at the door, don't even bother posting it.  Enjoy Van Halen for what it is, if you leave one of their eras out you miss something damned good!     Check out a few of the new songs:

I saw Van Halen in Dallas in 1984, it was a great show. 
DLR is a performer if nothing else. 
Surprised it took them almost thirty years to get back together.

It's not VH without Michael Anthony. Wonder who is doing the high harmonies on vocals? I've seen and heard Wolfgangs bass playing. Pretty sloppy.

Don't get me wrong here, I loved VH in the eighties but this new stuff sounds really dated and didn't really hit me like it did back then.

I honestly think Chickenfoot with Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony is better than Halen's new stuff.  Its not bad music, its just not the same.

Tickets weren't worth the price paid.  I'm sure someone desperate enough will offer more when the time gets close

Hmm I didnt know that.  I guess now I know why these songs werent finished or released.  Now take note that I am not saying its bad, just not as good as it was hyped up to be.  Kinda reminds me of Guns N Roses Chinese Democracy.  In all honesty though that should have been Axl Rose and Friends.

Bottom line for me: just not interested.  Enjoy it though if it pleases you.
