Yes, it is true. I will be taking the reigns of the Church of David Wales. While we are still mourning the loss of our AH BBS savior I would ask that our supporters hold your tongue and turn the other cheek to those who would slander our deity. For they are likely employees of Wal Mart.
It has come to the attention of the David Wales inner circle that a medium has been discovered who potentially has received several messages from David to his followers. As the situation on the BBS is still much too dangerous, this medium is being hidden away and interrogated, but will likely refuse to speak directly to the community for obvious safety reasons. I will take the burden of relaying these messages to the public.
The Church will continue to monitor and support all David Wales Memorial Wishes in the wish section (just tag it DWMW at the end of the wish). Remember, he was for the betterment of the game and nothing else.
Finally, I would like to quell the talk of a David Wales Resurrection thread at the moment. We are in the process of forming such a thread and we ask all supporters to prepare themselves mentally and physically for battle when the time comes. That time, however, is not now. Blood is still in the water and the skua shark still lurks.
I would leave you with some words to ponder throughout the day.... That no wish, no desire, nothing WW2 and AH related is too small, dumb, or petty to be asked for. We strive every day for perfection, in game and out. What's the harm in trying your best to make it a better AH world?
