Well it can't be people celebrating the super bowl, must be aliens lol. Athough, yes it probably is some sort of gov project. I use to live close to Hopkins airport in Berea, OH, USA. The local NASA used (which designed rocket engines btw) always claimed the loud noise was comercial jets.

Just remeber, if the world is coming to an end, many gov(s) have admitted that they would never let the public know.

The most probable ways for the world to end are also the most difficult for a government to cover up, even if your unsubstantiated claim were true.

...... the "mysterious sound" videos have been revealed as hoaxes. For example, a college student in Edmonton, Canada, posted a video of mysterious sounds which got nearly 140,000 views on YouTube before she admitted it was fake. She told a local newspaper, "I made the video by taking out my iPhone and merely video recorded my balcony view while holding my laptop right behind it, while my laptop played the Conklin YouTube video in the background. Took less than a minute to do this.... I made the video to show my friends and family how easy it was (literally less than five minutes of my life to make the video and upload it) to make something like that, and how they shouldn’t believe everything they see online, and should especially not get fearful."

:furious :furious
Hey! I'm trying to connect the dots with my..... tinfoil head!
I believe this events could be related, 200 dolphins beached in Cape Cod plus  280 in Peru in short interval of time is  bizare. This creatures are born in ocean, live and swim all life through day night storm fog using sonar and the Earth magnetic field for navigation, and usually end in ocean not  mass suicide on the beaches. Back in "70s the Chinese evacuated an entire city based on strange animal behavior,( snakes moving out of frozen ground) and saved 1000s of lives.
Back to this noises, i don't believe are all fake , just read a possible explanation here; http://geochangemag.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=142:strange-sounds-in-sky-explained-by-scientists-&catid=1:global-news&Itemid=9
