There is a downside to a bigger view angle. Your important center view becomes very tiny. You can zoom in of course but then you lose the view angle anyway. I think your best bet is to get used to adding "up" and "down" to your views as you look around. I used 2 view hats together, stick and throttle, before I started using TrackIR.

lower resolution one notch to 48something by 1920.  I used it for a while with no problems. but I decided to go back to full after a couple of days.  I know it's anoying losing a con above you like that specially in close combat.  trakir wont help you in some planes like the ponyd. I have trakir and keep losing airplanes if they hide in part of the canopy bar.

Changing resolution has no effect on view angle.

Changing resolution has no effect on view angle.

If you change the resolution in a way that alters the aspect ratio it will effect the vertical view.  For instance, going from 16:9 (5760x1080) to 16:10 (5760x1200) will show more of the cockpit at the 145 field of view for a 3 screen configuration.

The field of view needs to be 151 for the 16:9 aspect ratio configuration in order to display the same image as the 16:10 aspect ratio 145 degree field of view.

Yes, it wasn't the resolution change it was the aspect ratio change. I read it literally. Changing the resolution without changing the aspect ratio has no effect on the view angle.

If we could have a head tilt option when moving head that would work. Right now you cant save the tilt to the view

This would work for me

Also in the bomb site we lose top 1/3 and bottom 1/3
