ALT F4 is a right of passage or a hazing of sorts.  Two weekers who get offended with that little joke will never make it in the AH community.

I did hear though that alt f4 will soon pull up a menu with fuel trim settings so you can tune a little more horsepower outta your ride = )

:rofl I wonder how many noobs have seen that and tried it.  An exact number will never be calculated, as I don't believe anyone would admit to falling for it.

If you are using a computer and don;t know what Alt-F4 does, be thankful you found out.  Even if you had to go through the terrible trauma of having to double click on the game icon an extra time.

You guys think people don't stay in the game because someone told them to press Alt-F4?  :lol

Alt-f4 was a rite of passage for me ,,,  I felt like I was an insider once it had happened to me, I now knew something about the game that someone else didn't!!!
I was not that proficient with computers so how could have known any different?
now I look back and think,,"I have learned more about computers because of this game than any other reason",
It has helped me with almost every aspect of my daily life as far as using computers goes,, before I would have just went and bought another one,, now I just fix it,
I have also fixed most everyone in my families computers at least once  and saved most of them untold amounts of money !
The game  has its ups and downs, sometimes the game play sucks, other times it is as good as any game I could imagine, but I have made more friends here than I could ever have hoped for,  I have met people here who helped me in real life ,, I have helped others in the same manner, I have met more than a handful of players in person over the years and look forward to meeting others in the future!!!

          (Image removed from quote.)

My personal favorite was the guy that was new and wanted to know how to get rid of the cockpit art.  Alt-F4 certainly does work for that.

I'm not particularly fond of 'hazing', I think it doesn't make people feel particularly welcome.  That one did make me chuckle though.

Or tune to channel 6 to get helpful updates from new players on what bomber they're flying and what base they're headed to  :noid

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

That seems to be the hardest thing to break them of right off the bat.
