It was me in the P38. I now fly as "PBDY2012". I forget to drop tanks a lot too..... but this time I decided to leave them on for the first pass, and I got lucky to get the victory in a single pass without needing to maneuver much. I was pretty far into enemy territory and hoped to pick up another scalp on the way home. (No joy on that account.)

....Glad you're enjoying those videos and my offline missions. You asked if I'm writing more missions. Well, I'd love to, but I've been very busy lately. I will get back to that activity at some point. I have in mind coding up a historic simulation of Murray Shubin's amazing mission over Guadalcanal, during which he famously shouted over the radio "I've got 5 of them cornered up here!!!".  If my schedule relaxes soon you might look for that in a month or so. Check my website for further details as that project develops.
