Whats the purpose of adding early war planes like the c202,Spit V,Bf-109F4 if they are of little use? They are not competative by any stretch of the imagination in the main arena. I would like to see the FW-190 A4,Hurricane,P-40,F4F,A6M3 and a few more early planes added then implement a RPS. It`s becoming less fun by the day with the unlimited plane set IMO. 1945 planeset is fun but I would like to use all the aircraft and have some chance of surviving and making kills, not be frustrated by the current imbalances.

I envision expansion of A/C, early war, and 2 separate arena's of early and late war, without RPS.  You want to fly early today, and not in 3 weeks? NP, separate arena for it.  Same goes with late.  Available at the same time.  I suspect the plan will follow this since one of the biggest complaints on AGW was Late vs Early.  Offer both at the same time.

Weazel,
I fly the spitV almost all the time and have a great time in it.  Pity the fool that misses a bounce or blows a merge   They may out run me but don't try to get angles.  Not flown the 202 yet.  It should be a great plane for the same thing.

I totally agree with Weazel.  One of the coolest things about the air war in WWII is how dramatically it evolved in just six years.  The tactics used in '39 were completely different than those used in '45.  How much fun will it be to fly a Gloster Gladiator against an Me 262? I would like the game to be a WWII air simulation and not an F4U-C simulation.  I realize that most people prefer the late war planes and, for this reason, an early war arena would be very sparsely populated and would only serve to fragment the already diminutive (relatively) game population further.
Part of the challenge of any simulation is dealing with the plane's deficiencies.  Towards the end of the war these planes had fewer and fewer of them.
