Perks for Störche ?
« on: February 22, 2012, 11:46:10 AM »
Would it be possible for the Storch's smoke bombs to inflict some tiny, symbolic damage amount - something like one or two points - over a fairly wide dispersal area?

That way, by marking with smoke an enemy tank who later gets killed by a countryman, the Storch gets an assist on a kill.

Opinions?

If you drop a smoke bomb right on top of a target, you get an assist.

I got one the other day in a Storch.  I hadn't fired a single bullet from the rear guns.

Agree, close should count for an assist.

I do wish the smoke would last a bit longer, but...

If the smoke lasts longer it would be almost universly ignored because it would no longer be effective at marking targets (as the targets often are moving)

Yeah, the time on the smoke is fine, because as soon as that bad boy hit's the ground, whatever was near it is now boogying away to a new spot most likely.
