would be slow. diesel are low RPM engines so if you put that engine one a regular RC car with a RC car tranny, it would rock clime good but not very fast. rc engine rev VERY VERY VERY VERY! high.

Looking for brute power, not speed... me and speed don't mix well with my rc car as I have unfortunately learned from past mistakes

Some of the fastest offshore racing boats are diesel :)

Street Diesel crew cab Pickups are running in the 10s and 11s with a little tweaking.

The original output may be towards torque, but you can always gear after for speed
