You'll love it here- just don't get frustrated at first. Since you're new, I'll answer all the early questions right off the bat:
-Use the number line (row of numbers at top of keyboard) to set your throttle
-A is left rudder
-S centers the rudder
-D is right rudder
-Spacebar is the wheel brakes
-Mouse is for ailerons and elevator
-Left click to shoot
-Right click to shoot secondary weapon
-The Training Arena lets your fly anything for free with no impact on your statistics, so experiment in there, not the Main Arena (MA)
-There are plenty of trainers in the Training Arena (TA)
-Bullets have physics, so aim above your target at distance and in front of them in a turn fight
-Don't shoot until the plane fills your targeting reticle
-If they're not dead enough, you're not close enough
-Boom 'n Zoom is the strategy of diving in from altitude and shooting (hence, 'Boom') and then 'zooming' back up to altitude using the speed you gained in the dive
-Turn 'n Burn is the strategy of turning as tightly as you can in order to avoid getting shot
-Energy, or 'E', is the sum of your kinetic energy (usually airspeed) and your potential energy (usually altitude) at any given time
-You win a dogfight by managing your energy better (i.e., getting him/her/them to drain his/hers/theirs while keeping yours)
-Get a joystick, headset, and rudder pedals ASAP
-TrackIR tracks your head movements in order to move the camera. It can cause motion sickness to the point of vomiting, but if you do puke, it doesn't make you a weak person, just one that puked.
